Safety

The camper bears the responsibility of maintaining their designated camping area in a safe and orderly manner while strictly adhering to all campground regulations. This obligation encompasses proper waste disposal, fire safety compliance, and respect for quiet hours. Additionally, campers must ensure their equipment and personal belongings are securely stored and do not encroach upon neighboring sites. Compliance with these guidelines is essential for preserving the natural environment, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, and avoiding potential penalties or expulsion from the campground.

Personal Space

It is imperative to observe proper etiquette when occupying a campsite in close proximity to others. Entering or traversing through another camper's designated area without explicit permission is considered a breach of camping protocol and is strongly discouraged. Similarly, it is incumbent upon all campers to ensure that their own campsite setup does not encroach upon neighboring sites. This includes, but is not limited to, the placement of tents, vehicles, or any other camping equipment. Adherence to these guidelines is essential for maintaining a harmonious camping environment and respecting the privacy and space of fellow outdoor enthusiasts. By conscientiously observing these boundaries, campers contribute to a positive communal experience in shared natural spaces.

Noise

Quiet hours are hereby established from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM daily. This policy is implemented to ensure a harmonious environment for all patrons, accommodating both late-night and early-rising individuals. During designated quiet hours, all campers are required to minimize noise levels and refrain from activities that may disturb others. Amplified sound, loud conversations, and operation of noisy equipment are strictly prohibited during this period. Patrons are advised that adherence to quiet hours does not negate the obligation to maintain reasonable noise levels at all times. Campers are reminded that mutual respect and consideration for fellow patrons extend beyond designated quiet hours, and all activities should be conducted in a manner that does not infringe upon others' enjoyment of the camp area. Violation of quiet hours or persistent disruptive behavior may result in disciplinary action, including potential removal from the premises without refund.

Lights

For the safety and enjoyment of all campers, it is imperative to adhere to the following lighting regulations within the designated camping area. Campers are strictly required to remain within the illuminated zones during nighttime hours to ensure their personal safety and facilitate emergency responses if necessary. The use of personal lighting devices, including vehicle headlights and portable lamps, must be conducted with utmost consideration for fellow campers. All such lights should be properly shielded and directed downward to minimize light pollution and disturbance to those seeking to enjoy the natural darkness or retire for the night. In the event that it becomes necessary to traverse beyond the established lighted areas, campers are mandated to carry a functional flashlight for personal safety and navigation purposes. Notwithstanding these safety measures, campers are encouraged to extinguish unnecessary artificial lighting when possible, thereby preserving the integrity of the nocturnal environment and enabling the appreciation of the celestial night sky, a quintessential aspect of the camping experience.

Leave No Trace

The "Leave No Trace" principle is a cornerstone of responsible camping, and Ole Limestone wholeheartedly embraces this ethos. Campers are encouraged to leave their area as pristine as they found it, minimizing disturbances to the surrounding flora and fauna. This includes properly disposing of waste, respecting wildlife habitats, and adhering to designated trails and campsites.

Don't Steal a Campsite

The popularity of camping in some parks has created a surprising problem - campsite theft. Please be do not steal a reserve-only or first-come, first-served campsite that someone else has claimed. Please leave the occupancy tag in place and do not replace it with yours. Please be considerate of others. Thank you for your cooperation.

Rain or Shine

At our campgrounds, we embrace nature's unpredictability, offering a genuine outdoor experience in all weather conditions. Campers should come prepared for sunshine, rain, or anything in between, as Mother Nature often surprises us with her capricious moods. We strongly advise packing versatile gear, including waterproof tents, layered clothing, and all-weather footwear. Remember, there are no refunds due to weather – it's all part of the adventure. By planning ahead and adopting a resilient mindset, you'll ensure an unforgettable camping trip, rain or shine.
